floor support

one of my biggest pet peeves is a bouncy floor. so for the master bedroom, enter: (2)-2x10's. they are holding up my 2x8 floor joists spanning 18'-0" long. son of a buck. the beam makes it amazing.

this beam is under the living room. took me a good while to dig down with a crazy hand gardening shovel. then it took my brother in law and I forever to get it up in place. i hate dirt crawl spaces.

the jack is sitting on a CMU so it'll be nice and strong. two rooms down, two to go.
