inspiration

 end grain flooring ill be using in the kitchen and for the counter tops. it'll have to be done before i fab the counters. but before all of that, i need to get back in the crawl space jack up that side of the house. son of a buck.

this is what my kitchen "cabinets" are going to look like. courtesy of the-brick-house.com. pretty much took my idea. she did it first so whatever. but instead of going all the way to the ceiling and 10" deep, ill make them 24", and anchor them to the wall by a cleat. the mom asked about what i'm going to do about dust...don't eat off the top plate.

for the wall cabinets, im going to have chris the cabinet guy make shelves like this kitchen has. very clean without any braces to hold the shelves up.

awesome light unit. would love to make one, but not sure how i would have all the piping meet at the ceiling.

down the road a bit, but this would be awesome in the backyard

sweet movable screen for the projector in the man cave.

not a big fan of side lites in general, but the door, transom and side lites all work for me here. i just want that door.
