so after three freakin long months, i finally remembered to post again. here is a bit of everything.
grissom is now a year old.
mango got dirty.which is rare cause we are in a massive drought.
ok, so i love bikes. like hardcore. motorcycles, bicycles, unicycles, dirtbikes, whatever. i love them all. heres my newest ride for the road.
its an '02 kawasuki sv 650. the front and rear shocks are kawasaki. along with the rims and brakes.
its got a nice crater in the tank. its custom. custom dented.
since motorcycles are amazing. i named my mouse hunter after one. here is Guzzi.
heres what wife is riding at the current moment. i painted it, installed a new back rim and new tires. not much, but it super old, and super simple. Guzzi photobombed this.
my one year old is now a motocross monster. thanks to this gnarly suzuki 50.
mango photobombing.
heres my Kestrel. it is going to be a fixie/ single speed. gable is making me a sweet set of wooden handlebars. all i now need is the flip flop hub.
carbon fiber galore.
oh yeah, its in the living room proped up against some drywall.
Raleigh M80 single speed. maxxis larsen tt tires. i keep bikes in my house.
its not a 29er, but a few years down the road, this will be cool again.

now on to some house stuff. very very close to finishing drywall.
solid walls. very solid walls.
vertical 3-gang switches.
all insulated. got it off craigslist for $100. four bundles that each had a square footage of 320. 1280 sq ft for $100? win.
this is bedroom wall that the living room shares. i insulated it just for noise. when it wasnt there, someone could talk in the bedroom and i could hear them loud and clear in the living.
almost done getting the wireless compartment finished.
metal box painted flat black to hold the one of the four spots along the chimney wall.
galvanized conduit painted flat black.
getting ready to get the switch all wired up. fan light, fan blades, and spotlights.

So here is kinda a site tour one year after we've been in the house, with a few random pictures.
Grissom and mango decided to help me work on the diesel.

here is where the proposed mud room is going. still hillbilly looking after a year.
scrap pile. gotta pay the bills somehow.
i dont understand the placement of this. why is it facing into the grass? hillbilly. anyways, its coming out. then being put towards my man fund. guns, motorcycles, man stuff.
redneck mailbox. its horrible. thats not even our last name. but the saab photobombed this one.
you can kinda tell where out property goes out to where the dead corn is half raked. the property flag is out of the picture to the right.
the backyard. where mango tango goes crazy.
here is the back corner of the property. you can kinda see the corner orange flag in the ground.
heres along the back side of the property. outlined in orange flags so the farmer dude wont plant again. soon there will be grass. i love mowing.
just removed the hay bales from the side of the house, now i just gotta remove the 1" rigid insulation.
there she is. all in her glory. i hate that darn satellite dish in the front lawn. but i just dethatched, fertilized, and spread grub killer, so my lawn should be looking amazing here real soon.
here is the cat. Guzzi. Lady guzzi. named after the great moto guzzis. her job is to catch intruding mice, moles, and anything else obnoxious.
Grissom decided he wanted to help me roll the lawn. he fell asleep pretty much right away.

raleigh m80 fitted with a baby seat. super chunks is ready for the trails.
long day. time for some beauty rest.
here is a few of the kazillion rocks that i dug out of the flower bed. i didnt know where to put them, so i am saving some for a fire pit. all the rest are going on the property corners.
